The Ontario Works Oshawa office closed this week after flooding caused temporary damage at the Midtown Mall location on John Street West. Durham Region confirmed the Oshawa office will remain closed for cleaning and repairs, with clients redirected to Durham Region Headquarters in Whitby. Limited supports are available at the Community Resource Centre on the second floor of 200 John Street West. Residents seeking Ontario Works assistance can also call 311 for more information.
