Oshawa stabbing assault charges have been laid against a 60-year-old man following an incident inside a residence on February 4. Durham police say a verbal altercation escalated into a stabbing in the area of Athol Street East and Ritson Road South. The victim suffered serious injuries and was treated by paramedics. The Oshawa man is charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon dangerous. The investigation remains ongoing.
