The Ontario Liberals leadership race will officially begin after the party announced it will select a new leader on Nov. 21. The contest follows the resignation of Bonnie Crombie and marks the third leadership race for the party since 2020. Several potential candidates, including Ajax MPP Rob Cerjanec, are considering entering the race as party members prepare to vote electronically using a ranked ballot system later this year.
