The Oshawa skilled trades fair will bring Ontario’s Level Up! career program to the Tribute Communities Centre from December 1 to 3.
The public open house will run from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day at 99 Athol Street East. Students, families, job seekers and people considering a career change can attend to learn about skilled-trades pathways.
Hands-on demonstrations cover more than 140 trades
Level Up! events use interactive exhibits, practical demonstrations and conversations with tradespeople, employers, unions, industry associations and training organizations. Ontario lists more than 140 skilled-trades professions.
The provincial program says students in grades 7 through 12 are a central audience, although the Oshawa open house is also promoted to families and adults exploring employment options.
Organizers expect the 2026 series to visit 12 communities and reach more than 60,000 people. The fairs are designed to explain training, apprenticeships and day-to-day work.
The Oshawa dates are December 1, 2 and 3. Visitors should check the official Level Up! site before travelling for registration instructions or schedule changes.
