An Oshawa student has won the DRPS Chief for a Day contest after more than 100 Grade 5 students across Durham Region submitted essays.

Anayta Sehrawat, a student at Bobby Orr Public School, was surprised at school by Durham Regional Police Chief Peter Moreira and police service members.
