McLeod Park court upgrades in Brock Township are nearing completion, with new basketball posts installed and tennis-court work expected to finish by the end of the week.
The township’s update says basketball nets are scheduled to be installed in the spring. Tennis net posts are now in place while the remaining work continues.
Seasonal park closure follows the work
Once the tennis project is complete, the tennis nets will be removed for the season. Brock Township is reminding residents that municipal parks and seasonal park amenities close each year on October 1.
The timing means residents may have only a short opportunity to see the completed court work before the seasonal closure. The township has not announced a separate opening ceremony or a change to its annual park schedule.
