Laura Elliott, a school-board advisor and education-sector leader, will be honoured for work in education, public service and university governance. Ontario Tech also cited her longstanding commitment to student success.
The university said the recipients’ service spans civic engagement, education, technology and governance.
Attendance requires registration
The Ontario Tech Fall Convocation is a ticketed event, and all in-person attendees must be registered. The university has posted ceremony schedules and information for graduates and guests on its convocation website.
People who cannot attend in person will be able to watch the ceremonies through the university’s online livestream page.
