The All Saints anniversary brought alumni, staff and community members together in Whitby to celebrate 25 years of Catholic secondary education.
All Saints Catholic Secondary School marked the milestone on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a commemorative mass and reception, according to the Durham Catholic District School Board.
Mass and reception mark the milestone
Rev. Francisco Fernandez Siles of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Whitby and Rev. Andrija Petresin, a former chaplain at All Saints, presided over the mass.
Afterward, current and former staff, alumni and other guests gathered in the school’s Learning Commons. Student artwork was displayed, while a slideshow highlighted former students and employees who have been part of the school community over its first quarter-century.
The school said the October gathering begins a broader year of anniversary activities with its community. The board did not announce additional dates in its release.
Whitby school plans a year of recognition
The celebration recognized the people who have shaped All Saints since it opened 25 years ago. Bringing graduates, employees and current students together also gave the school a chance to connect its history with the work happening in classrooms today.
The All Saints anniversary comes during the 2026-27 school year. Families and former students can follow the school and DCDSB channels for any further anniversary announcements.
