Bowmanville Applefest 2026 will fill four blocks of the historic downtown with local growers, fall foods and an artisan market on Saturday, October 17.
The annual street festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free, according to the Historic Downtown Bowmanville Business Improvement Area.
Growers and vendors take over downtown
Local apple growers will offer fresh-picked fruit and pressed cider alongside pies, crisps, candy and caramel apples, cider doughnuts and hot apple fritters.
An artisan and craft market will place tents along downtown streets, giving local makers space to sell handmade products. Businesses in the festival area are also expected to offer outdoor displays and activities.
The BIA describes Applefest as a celebration of the local harvest held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Visitors should expect street-festival crowds and lineups at popular food stands.
Free shuttle runs from Clarington Central
Free parking and shuttle service will be available at Clarington Central Secondary School, 200 Clarington Boulevard in Bowmanville. Buses are expected about every 15 minutes between the school and festival area.
The shuttle vehicles are not accessible. The event organizer directs visitors who need accessible parking to check the Applefest frequently asked questions before travelling.
Residents planning to attend Bowmanville Applefest 2026 can confirm final event and transportation information through the BIA’s official event page.
