Durham Region Transit is detouring eight routes around a construction closure of Glenanna Road in Pickering from Tuesday, Oct. 13 through Monday, Oct. 26, 2026.
The closure affects Glenanna Road between The Esplanade South and Pickering Parkway. Routes 112, 118, 121, 211, 900B, 916 and 917 will detour via Kingston Road, Valley Farm Road and Pickering Parkway, while Pulse 900B, Pulse 916 and 920B westbound trips detour via Valley Farm Road and Pickering Parkway.
Two stops will not be served during the closure: Stop 1607 (Kingston Road westbound at Valley Farm Road) and Stop 1915 (Glenanna Road southbound at The Esplanade). A temporary stop is available on Valley Farm Road southbound at Kingston Road, about 100 metres south of Kingston Road. All other stops along the detour routes will be served.
