The City of Pickering says a stretch of 8th Concession Road will be closed for cross-culvert replacement from Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 23, 2026.
According to the city’s notice, the closure affects 8th Concession Road between Sideline 2 and Sideline 6, and is in effect daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during that period. Emergency services will have access, and residents at addresses 3000 to 3050 on 8th Concession Road are asked to use Balsam Road.
