South Oshawa Pool registration opens at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, for fall swimming lessons and aquatic programs beginning the week of October 13.
The City of Oshawa issued the reminder after the South Oshawa Community Centre pool reopened following an extensive reconstruction project.
Online and in-person registration available
Residents can register through activeOshawa Online or visit the South Oshawa Community Centre, Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre or Donevan Recreation Complex.
People who want to move an existing lesson or aquatic program from another City pool must complete the transfer by Friday, October 9, to have transfer fees waived.
In-person requests can be completed at a recreation facility. Online, residents must register for the South Oshawa program and submit the City’s withdrawal and refund form for the program they are leaving.
Free leisure swimming continues
Oshawa residents can use South Oshawa Pool for free leisure swimming for the rest of 2026. Free swims are first come, first served and subject to capacity. Participants must show government-issued identification confirming Oshawa residency.
The South Oshawa Pool registration period is separate from free leisure swims and covers organized fall lessons and aquatic programs.
