A downtown Oshawa parking lot could soon be transformed into a major residential development as city officials review plans for a new high-rise building near City Hall. The proposal focuses on a municipal parking lot located at 0 Athol Street West, commonly known as Parking Lot 4. The site sits just steps away from Oshawa City Hall and across the street from another major residential development planned for the former church rectory property. According to the proposal submitted by a local project management company, the development would include 156 parking spaces designated for residents.
