Durham Region Transit will hold its annual Accessibility Forum in Oshawa on Tuesday, October 27, inviting residents and customers to discuss accessible transit.
The Durham accessible transit forum runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Oshawa, 1011 Bloor Street East, in Harmony Room C.
Updates and public feedback
DRT says the event will provide updates on current accessibility initiatives and future plans. Customers, residents and community partners can share experiences and identify priorities for improving service across Durham Region.
The agency says feedback from the annual forum helps shape continuing accessibility improvements.
Registration is required
Attendance is free, but advance registration is required through DRT’s accessibility page. Light refreshments are planned.
People who require an accommodation should contact DRT before the event. Registration and accommodation details are available in the official notice.
The forum is a consultation and information session. DRT has not announced a service change in connection with it.
