A Brock tool theft investigation has prompted a new public appeal from Durham Regional Police, who are trying to identify a man suspected of taking tools from Home Hardware.
The appeal was issued October 26 and concerns an incident on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Police say the suspect entered a Home Hardware store in Brock Township at about 12:30 p.m., stole multiple tools and left the area.
Investigators describe the vehicle as a grey Honda CR-V from the 2023–2026 model years. The release does not identify a licence plate, the value of the tools or the exact store address.
Police describe the suspect as a white man aged approximately 30 to 40, about five feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. They say he has a distinctive monster or demon-face tattoo on his right shin.
