Families are invited to Celebrate Parks at Oshawa Museum Family Day with a fun and interactive afternoon filled with creativity, storytelling and local history.
Taking place on Sunday, February 15, the event supports the museum’s upcoming exhibit, “A Walk in the Park,” opening in June. The Oshawa Museum is encouraging community members to share memories of local parks, neighbourhood teams and favourite green spaces.
Children can design their dream park on paper and build park equipment using Lego, while adults can contribute stories and reflections about Oshawa’s parks and recreation spaces.
