The Scugog volunteer fair will connect residents with local nonprofits, service clubs and community groups on Sunday, October 25, at Scugog Memorial Public Library in Port Perry.
The North Durham Chamber of Commerce’s current event page confirms a 1 to 3 p.m. session in the library’s Rotary Room, at 231 Water Street. Admission is free.
Explore opportunities close to home
The Chamber is presenting the fair in partnership with Scugog Memorial Library. The programme invites experienced volunteers, first-time participants and families to learn about roles suited to different interests, ages and schedules.
Organizers describe a drop-in format, allowing visitors to meet participating groups and explore how their time and skills could support local initiatives.
Community Care Durham has also publicly announced its participation and identifies the same 1 to 3 p.m. window.
Use the organizer’s current time
DurhamRegion.com’s October 22 automated weekend roundup lists the fair with a 10 a.m. start. That differs from the Chamber’s current programme, which specifies 1 to 3 p.m.
Residents planning to attend the Scugog volunteer fair should use the organizer’s current schedule and check its event page for any subsequent changes.
