Clarington PA day programs on Monday, October 26 will give families a choice between a morning music session in Courtice and a lunchtime building activity in Bowmanville.
Clarington Library, Museums & Archives confirms both activities in its official programme calendar. The options were highlighted in DurhamRegion.com’s October 22 report on local PA day activities.
Family Groove runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Great Room at Courtice Library, 2950 Courtice Road. The all-ages session is a drop-in programme, with no advance registration required.
The class combines dance, singing, rhythm games and instruments. The library describes it as a way to encourage active play, coordination, creativity and family connection.
Later, Boston Pizza LEGO Lunch takes place from noon to 2 p.m. at Boston Pizza Bowmanville, 2372 Durham Regional Highway 2. The official library listing and restaurant’s event page agree on the date and local time. The restaurant’s page also displays the equivalent 4 to 6 p.m. UTC; that should not be mistaken for an afternoon local start.
There is no programme admission charge for the LEGO activity, but participants must pay for their own food and drinks. Table reservations are required through the restaurant’s event page. Groups of more than six are asked to call the restaurant directly at 905-623-9993.
The restaurant says a LEGO station and on-the-spot library card signups are planned. Highchairs and booster seats are limited and available on a first-come basis. Anyone unable to use a reservation should notify the restaurant.
The two Clarington PA day programs take place at different venues and have different booking arrangements: Family Groove is drop-in, while the lunch requires a reservation. Families should use the organizer listings for the current details before travelling.
