Durham police are asking residents to help find an Oshawa missing man who is considered vulnerable.
Police identified the man as Michael, 63. He was last seen at about 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, in the Coldstream Drive and Ormond Drive area of north Oshawa.
Police provide description
Michael is described as Black, about five feet 10 inches tall and approximately 190 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a red toque, a yellow-and-brown jacket, black pants and yellow-and-red running shoes.
Police said Michael may also have been seen near Ritson Road North and Taunton Road East. The two locations are in north Oshawa, and officers are asking people in the area to watch for someone matching the description.
Residents asked to contact police
Anyone who sees Michael or has information about where he may be is asked to contact Durham Regional Police Service at 905-579-1520, extension 1605.
Residents should provide police with the location and time of any sighting, along with details that could help officers confirm the information. Anyone facing an immediate emergency should call 911.
The public appeal was posted by Durham police on Saturday afternoon and reported by Daily Durham at 6:06 p.m. The available notice did not describe the circumstances of Michael’s disappearance or explain why he is considered vulnerable.
This Oshawa missing man appeal concerns a 63-year-old adult and is unrelated to the September search for a 13-year-old Whitby boy with the same first name.
