The Whitby missing woman identified in an earlier appeal as Nadia, 55, has been located safe, Durham Regional Police confirmed on November 1.
The service said the missing 55-year-old woman from Whitby had been found safe and sound. Police asked the public to remove her image from circulation.
Earlier appeal is no longer active
The original appeal concerned a woman last seen in Whitby on Friday, October 30. Durham Radio News has also added a found-safe update to its earlier report.
The new police confirmation is a substantive change from the active search notice. Residents should not continue sharing the earlier missing-person image as an outstanding appeal.

Police did not say where the Whitby missing woman was located or describe the circumstances in the confirmation reviewed. No further account of the search or her personal circumstances is being inferred.
