Scugog voter list access is now open, giving residents a way to confirm or update their information before the 2026 municipal election.
The Township of Scugog says voters can use its online Voter Information Tool from September 4 until voting closes at 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26. The tool allows residents to check whether their name appears on the list and whether the recorded information is correct.
Residents can also check their status by calling the township’s election line at 905-985-2791, emailing election@scugog.ca or visiting the municipal office at 181 Perry Street in Port Perry during regular office hours.
How to add or correct voter information
Anyone who is not on the list, or whose information needs to be corrected, can apply for an amendment in person at the municipal office. Applicants must complete an EL15 Application to Amend the Voters’ List and present acceptable identification.
During the voting period, eligible voters will also be able to add or update their information at a Township Voting Assistance Centre. Residents should consult the township’s election information before visiting to confirm locations, hours and identification requirements.
Checking early can help prevent avoidable delays when voting begins. It is especially useful for residents who have recently moved, changed their name or are voting in Scugog for the first time.
Municipal voting ends October 26
Scugog’s municipal election voting period concludes at 8 p.m. on October 26, 2026. The township’s election website is the main source for information for voters, candidates and third-party advertisers.
Residents can access election details and the voter-checking service through Scugog.ca/election. Voters should rely on the township’s official instructions for eligibility, acceptable identification and voting assistance.
