Pickering trustee interviews released through People of Durham offer voters a conversation with two candidates seeking Durham District School Board seats. Episode 63 features Khadiza Manjra and Walton Armstrong Jr., as confirmed by the programme’s original YouTube listing.
Daily Durham reported the episode on October 23, ahead of the October 26 municipal and school board election. The two guests appear together in the same programme.
According to Daily Durham’s report, the conversation addresses STEM opportunities, extracurricular activities, classroom technology, artificial intelligence in homework, teacher stress and communication with parents about school safety. It also discusses school crowding, portables, bus journeys and the role of a trustee.
Those subjects reflect a candidate conversation, not newly adopted school board policies or a board endorsement. The original video is linked below so residents can hear the candidates’ explanations and distinguish their positions from decisions already made by the DDSB.
The episode is a new interview release rather than another account of previously published candidate endorsements. All About Durham’s coverage of its availability does not endorse either guest.
