A DRT Scarborough Centre bay change will temporarily move routes 920 and 921 to bay 3 while construction closes two regular bus bays at the station.
Durham Region Transit says bays 1 and 2 will be closed from 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 26, until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. During that period, passengers using either route at Scarborough Centre Station should go to bay 3.
Two routes use the temporary platform
The transit agency issued its service alert on October 20. The notice identifies construction as the reason for the change and lists routes 920 and 921 as the affected services.
The published alert concerns the boarding location at Scarborough Centre Station. It does not announce a cancellation of either route or a new fare.
The DRT Scarborough Centre bay change has a stated start and end time, rather than applying to the whole of both calendar dates. Riders travelling early on October 26 or later on October 31 should check the current DRT notice before making their connection.
Although the station is outside Durham Region, the notice directly affects Durham Region Transit services and the riders who use them. The transit agency’s alert is the authoritative source for any subsequent change to the temporary arrangement.
