Costco Canada will make its extended weekend hours permanent starting in 2026.
Previously, Canadian Costco warehouses closed at 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Under the new schedule, weekend hours will now be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., while weekday hours remain unchanged at 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
A Costco spokesperson confirmed the change on social media, saying, “You thought that new weekend hours were just for the holidays? Think again. We’re making this a permanent change in the new year.”
Costco locations will continue to be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
