Residents are being encouraged to help protect local parks and roadways during the upcoming Day of Action on Litter Uxbridge community cleanup event taking place on May 12, 2026, in Uxbridge.

The Day of Action on Litter Uxbridge initiative will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. near 565 Old Stouffville Road and surrounding areas, where volunteers will work together to remove garbage and litter from roadsides and public spaces.

Organized by Township of Uxbridge staff in partnership with Ontario Parks staff, the Day of Action on Litter Uxbridge event is part of a larger provincial effort focused on environmental stewardship and community cleanup activities across Ontario.

Volunteers participating in the Day of Action on Litter Uxbridge will assist with collecting litter along sections of Old Stouffville Road and portions of Concession 6.
