Uxbridge home prices averaged $1.39 million in September 2026, climbing sharply from August while remaining close to their level a year earlier.
Toronto Regional Real Estate Board data reported by the Torstar Open Data Team show the community’s average sale price rose 16.5 per cent month over month. That represented an increase of about $197,000 from August.
The annual comparison was much smaller: the September average was 0.4 per cent higher than in September 2025. The difference between the monthly and annual figures highlights how a limited number of sales can produce large short-term changes in a smaller market.
Detached homes lead monthly increase
Detached houses sold for an average of $1.51 million during September. That was 22.1 per cent above August and 5.8 per cent higher than the same month last year.
Attached homes averaged $995,000, down 11.8 per cent from August. Apartment-style condominium units averaged $397,000, a 38.4 per cent monthly decline. Category averages can fluctuate when only a small number of properties change hands, so they do not necessarily describe the value change of an individual home.
Sales and active listings decline
Eighteen Uxbridge homes sold during September. Properties that changed hands spent an average of 44 days on the market.
There were 107 active listings at the end of the month. Compared with September 2025, sales were down 21.7 per cent and active listings were down 19.5 per cent.
Over a longer period, the average sale price in Uxbridge has increased 99.1 per cent since September 2016, according to the reported board data. That decade-long comparison is less sensitive to a single month’s mix of detached, attached and condominium sales.
The September report follows an August average of about $1.19 million. This Uxbridge home prices article is a new monthly market update, not a duplicate of the earlier August report.
