Uxbridge football teams are coming off losses to Paul Dwyer, with the junior Tigers’ season ending while the seniors prepare for playoff action.
Official LOSSA results list a 55–0 Paul Dwyer win over Uxbridge in junior football on Thursday, October 29, and a 24–14 Dwyer victory in the senior matchup on Wednesday, October 28.
The Uxbridge Cosmos reported on the games in its November 4 sports coverage. The league record provides the dates and final scores for the two separate fixtures.
Junior season ends
The Cosmos describes the junior result as Uxbridge’s final game of the season and reports that the Tigers finished without a win.
Its game account says Dwyer converted an early punt return into a touchdown and continued to build the lead. A Uxbridge scoring play was called back by a penalty.
Seniors look ahead
The senior Tigers lost by 10 points rather than the wider margin in the junior game. According to the local report, quarterback Evan Coughlan threw for 121 yards, while Reggie Kerford scored both Uxbridge touchdowns.
The current LOSSA schedule lists the senior Tigers at Holy Trinity on Thursday, November 5, at 7 p.m. Families and supporters should check the league’s live schedule for venue details or changes before travelling.
The Uxbridge football results concern different age divisions. The junior loss does not mean the senior team’s season has also ended.
