Uxbridge donations can now support two major community facilities through official Township channels: the new Aquatic and Sports Complex and the Uxbridge-Scugog Animal Shelter.
Durham Radio News highlighted the opportunities on November 4. The Township’s sponsorship page provides separate donation links and information about sponsorship and naming rights for both projects.
Two projects, separate opportunities
The new animal shelter will replace an aging facility. The Township describes expanded capacity, medical and quarantine space, adoption areas, and space for community education among the planned features.
The Aquatic and Sports Complex is intended to support swimming lessons, aquatic fitness, rehabilitation, competitive training, recreational sport and broader community programming. It will replace North Durham’s existing indoor pool.
The current appeal is about ways to contribute to those facilities. It does not announce a new construction contract or a change to an opening date.
Use the Township’s official information
The municipal page links to sponsorship packages for each project and invites enquiries about naming rights. Depending on the opportunity, recognition can include commemorative signs or other acknowledgement.
Businesses, organizations, families and individual community members can explore the available options. For donations above $2,500, the Township asks contributors to contact staff to discuss payment arrangements.
The Uxbridge donations page also distinguishes these new-facility opportunities from advertising at existing municipal facilities. Readers can review the official packages and donation routes directly below rather than relying on an unsolicited fundraising offer.
