THEE Farmers' Parade of Lights brings a rural procession to Clarington on December 2. Durham Tourism lists a 5:30 p.m. start near Old Scugog Road and Concession 9 Road, with the route beginning north of Enniskillen and finishing in Tyrone.
Tractors, trucks and illuminated floats give this parade a different character from a downtown Santa procession. The tourism preview names Tyrone, Haydon, Enniskillen and Enfield among the communities involved and encourages non-perishable food donations. Confirm the detailed route before choosing a roadside viewing location.
