Ticket buyers and sponsors have until Monday, Sept. 14, to sign up for YWCA Durham’s annual Starry Nights dinner and auction in Oshawa.
The fundraising event takes place Friday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 11:30 p.m. at the Harmony Event Centre, 1011 Bloor Street East. Proceeds support YWCA Durham’s Y’s WISH Shelter, which provides emergency shelter and services for women and children leaving unsafe situations.

Guests can expect dinner and dessert, an inspiring guest speaker, a silent auction and dancing. The organizer recommends business casual attire at minimum, although guests are welcome to dress up for the evening.

Sponsorships and silent-auction donations wanted
YWCA Durham is also seeking event sponsors, with opportunities ranging from $250 to $5,000, as well as donations for the silent auction.
Some sponsorship levels include a table of 10 tickets. Organizations interested in those packages should contact YWCA Durham directly instead of buying tickets through the online ticket page.
