Scugog election results show Ian McDougall leading the mayoral race with 3,326 votes after voting closed on Monday, October 26, according to the municipality’s published unofficial tally.

Mike Coll followed with 1,971 votes, Wilma Wotten with 1,673, Jack Doak with 1,044, David Whitfield with 369 and Charles Deane with 67. The township reports a total of 8,450 votes in the mayoral contest and overall turnout of 41.3 per cent.

Patricia Conlin led the regional councillor contest with 2,515 votes. Allan Honey received 2,304, Terry Coyne 2,191 and Richard Park 1,107. The township’s October 26 announcement identifies Conlin as elected in its unofficial table.

David Le Roy led Ward 1 with 1,158 votes, compared with Scott Blachar’s 294. Alisa Cole led Ward 2 with 1,294 against Richard Hinton’s 349.

The Ward 3 race was closer: Rosario Greco received 383 votes, Sean Taylor 356 and Don Kett 172. Brad Martyn led Ward 4 with 1,192 votes against Harold Wright’s 568.

Janna Guido led Ward 5 with 1,231 votes, followed by Stephen Kotyck with 828 and Marion Meyers with 427. The Scugog election results list all five ward leaders in the current 2026 table; older election tables farther down the webpage should not be mistaken for this year’s outcome.

For the two Durham District School Board trustee positions, the combined result published by Scugog shows Dave Brown with 8,412 votes and Paul Breeze with 6,944 ahead of James Bountrogiannis and Netalia Duboisky. Those totals cover the shared trustee area rather than Scugog alone.

These are unofficial results from the October 26, 2026 municipal election. Certification by the municipal clerk is a separate step; the figures should not be described as a certified declaration.

Residents can consult the municipal results page linked below for the complete ballot, including school-board contests and any later corrections or certification notices.
