Oshawa house fire update: Police have confirmed that a man reported missing following a house fire in Oshawa has been found safe.
Durham Regional Police said the 30-year-old man was initially reported missing after a residential fire near Bloor Street East and Merritt Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Following a search, police confirmed the individual was located and is safe. No further details were released.
As part of standard procedure, Durham police have requested that the man’s photograph be removed now that he has been found.
Authorities thanked the public for their assistance during the investigation.
