Ontario Philharmonic has two different holiday programs at Oshawa's Regent Theatre. The Nutcracker is scheduled for December 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Holiday Jamboree with ReSOUND Choir follows on December 18 at 7:30 p.m.
The December 12 production presents Tchaikovsky's score in concert form with image projections, rather than advertising a staged ballet. Guest conductor Léa Moisan-Perrier makes her Ontario Philharmonic debut. The Regent recommends that program for ages 14 and older and states a minimum age of seven.
Select the correct performance when booking. The Nutcracker's age guidance should not automatically be applied to the December 18 concert, whose own ticket conditions should be checked separately.
