Newcastle is preparing for an evening parade on November 15, with Durham Tourism describing the 2026 edition as a 20-year milestone. The procession is listed for 5:30 p.m. on King Avenue East, making this one of the earlier chances to see Santa in Durham this season.
The tourism preview includes illuminated floats, marching bands and a fireworks display. Those are useful reasons to plan an evening visit rather than expect a daytime procession. Check the parade organizer for final route and fireworks arrangements before choosing a viewing spot.
