Lakeshore East hourly trains will replace the usual service pattern between Durham College Oshawa GO and Union Station on Saturday, November 21, 2026, during planned construction.

GO Transit’s construction notice confirms the adjustment and says regular Lakeshore East service will return on November 22.

Allow extra time for connections

Stouffville line passengers will connect with Lakeshore East trains at Scarborough GO. GO warns that platforms, station buildings and walkways may be busier than usual.

For northbound route 88 buses leaving Oshawa GO at 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the connection will take approximately 45 minutes—30 minutes longer than usual. Passengers coming from Union must take a train 30 minutes earlier.

Southbound travellers leaving Trent University at 12:04 p.m., 1:39 p.m., 4:39 p.m. and 6:09 p.m. will also have a 45-minute transfer to the train at Oshawa.

Check departure times before travelling and consult Durham Region Transit or TTC schedules for onward connections. This November 21 notice is separate from the October 31–November 1 weekend adjustment.
