Housing Durham representatives available for questions

The open-house portion gives residents an opportunity to speak directly with Housing Durham representatives about the Christine Crescent project.

According to the Region of Durham, the redevelopment is expected to replace 12 outdated semi-detached units with a new mid-rise apartment building and stacked townhouses, creating a total of approximately 160 units. Improvements are also planned for nearby Chopin Park.

The Region says the project is part of a broader effort to provide more high-quality affordable housing and create mixed-income communities with market-rental and rent-geared-to-income homes.

More information about the project and the workshop is available on the official Community Housing Development page.
