Durham Region – The real estate market in Durham Region continues to shine, with several high-value homes selling in Pickering and Uxbridge over the past month. According to recent listings, some of the region’s most luxurious and expensive properties have exchanged hands, showcasing the area’s appeal for those seeking executive estates with both luxury and convenience.

The most expensive home sold last month in Durham Region was a stunning nine-bedroom, eight-bath home located at 1834 Appleview Road, Pickering. This custom-built estate sold on March 1, 2026, for just under $2.64 million, coming in $150,000 under the asking price. Nestled on a premium ravine lot, the home offers 8,000 sq. ft of living space surrounded by mature trees. The bright, open-concept layout features a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, a formal dining area, and a large family room. The upper level boasts a luxurious master suite, while the finished walk-out basement offers multi-generational living potential with a separate entrance, two bedrooms, and a kitchen.
