The DRPS Halloween costume contest is inviting photos of children dressing as police officers this Halloween, with entries due by November 1 at 4 p.m.
Durham Regional Police announced the contest on its official account on October 30.
Prize includes a meeting with True
Police say the prize package includes a special meet-and-greet with True, the service’s newest police service dog.
The contest is a separate community activity from the service’s earlier announcement about True joining its search-and-rescue programme. That earlier introduction did not itself announce this Halloween entry opportunity.
Check the original entry instructions
The DRPS Halloween costume contest notice asks families to email their photos to the submission address shown in the original police announcement linked below.
The notice checked for this report does not provide a date or location for the meet-and-greet, a complete itemized prize list or further eligibility rules. Families should consult the original announcement for the entry address and any later instructions before submitting a child’s photograph.
