Brock election results show Michael Jubb ahead in the mayoral race with 3,994 votes after voting closed on Monday, October 26, according to the municipality’s published unofficial tally.

Brenda Thyne received 399 votes in the two-candidate mayoral contest. The Township of Brock’s October 27 news release identifies Jubb as the incoming mayor for the 2026–2030 council term, while noting that clerk certification is still to follow.

The township reports that 4,487 voters participated, representing turnout of 40.5 per cent. Voting ran from October 17 to 26 using online and telephone options as well as ballot-on-demand at voting assistance centres in Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland.

Peter Frank led the regional councillor race with 2,734 votes, ahead of Cria Pettingill’s 1,600. The five ward contests determined the remaining local council positions.

Claire Doble led Ward 1 with 432 votes, compared with Beth Josephson’s 397, Peter Teolis’s 85 and John Rush’s 71. Diana Vessel led Ward 2 with 559 votes; Ron Den Braasem received 128.

In Ward 3, Mike Samis received 383 votes, Glenda Nicholson 332 and Chris Shier 304. Sally Morgan led Ward 4 with 459 votes against Ron Hodgson’s 343. Ted Smith led Ward 5 with 415 votes, ahead of Anthony Macoretta’s 389, a difference of 26.

The Brock election results direct readers to Scugog for the combined Durham District School Board trustee result rather than treating Brock-only numbers as the entire electoral area. Richard Damianopoulos, Erik Lapointe and Marcellin Kwilu Mondo are listed as acclaimed in the Catholic, French public and French Catholic board positions respectively.

These are unofficial results from the October 26, 2026 municipal election. Certification by the municipal clerk is a separate step; the figures should not be described as a certified declaration.

Residents can consult the municipal results page linked below for the complete ballot, including school-board contests and any later corrections or certification notices.
