Beaverton's Lions Santa Claus Parade is listed for November 28 at 6 p.m., starting at the fairgrounds. Durham Tourism describes a loop along Main, Simcoe, Osborne and Bay streets before returning to the fairgrounds.
The procession is part of a broader evening of downtown celebrations. Children can visit Santa at the fire hall afterwards, while local stores and the town's Christmas lights add reasons to stay. The parade's 6 p.m. start should not be confused with the earlier opening of the associated markets.
