The Whitelaw school boundary review has an in-person open house at 7 p.m. October 29 at Gordon B. Attersley Public School, 1110 Attersley Drive in Oshawa.

DDSB’s consultation page says board staff, transportation representatives and other specialists will be available to discuss two proposed attendance-area scenarios. Neither proposal is a final decision.

Feedback before a final recommendation

The survey runs until January 8, 2027. Families can review scenario maps and background documents on Engage DDSB before commenting.

The unnamed Oshawa Whitelaw Public School is under construction for a fall 2027 opening. It is planned for Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8, with a Ministry-rated capacity of 634 pupils.

The Whitelaw school boundary review is more specific than the board’s previously reported overall accommodation pressures: it asks families to help shape this school’s permanent attendance area.
