Lane restrictions will be in place on Cedarbrook Trail, 100 metres north of Columbus Road in Brooklin, starting Monday, October 26, 2026, for approximately two weeks, according to a Town of Whitby construction update.
The restrictions are to allow the installation of underground services and road construction connected to the Columbus Road widening project (Contract 23-2025). Columbus Road itself remains closed from Country Lane to Cedarbrook Trail while the widening work continues.
Drivers in the area should expect delays during the restriction period. The Town’s update, dated October 23, 2026, is part of its ongoing construction-projects notices for Whitby roads.
