Zephyr voter assistance will be available from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, according to the Township of Uxbridge’s latest election notice.
The township published its October 22 Township Page on October 21. Its voting notice specifically marks the Zephyr Community Centre hours as extended.
The centre is at 310 Zephyr Road in Zephyr. The updated local assistance window is a service detail beyond the previously announced October 13-to-26 online voting period.
Help with voting and voter letters
The township says residents can vote online or attend a voter assistance centre using the personal identification number in their Voter Information Letter.
People who did not receive their letter can attend a voter assistance centre with identification to obtain the personalized PIN needed to vote. Voters should keep their own voting credentials private.
The notice encourages residents to vote early rather than wait until the final day, when assistance centres may be busier.
