Uxbridge winter recreation registration will open Tuesday, November 10, at 9 a.m. for aquatic and recreation programmes running from January to March 2027.
The Township of Uxbridge published the details in its November 2 newsletter update. It also outlined winter indoor walking opportunities and a series of themed public skates at the Uxbridge Arena.
How to register for winter programmes
Residents will be able to register online, in person at the Uxpool or by calling 905-852-7831. The township says the swimming offerings include lessons and leadership training, while other recreation programmes include dance, sports and arts.
The Fall 2026–Winter 2027 community guide is available to help residents review the choices before registration opens. Individual programme schedules and availability should be checked through the township rather than assumed from the general registration announcement.
Indoor walking begins November 2
The newsletter says the indoor walking trail at Uxbridge Secondary School runs from November 2 to April 14. Sessions are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., with access for members and drop-in participants.
A membership costs $40 and provides access to all indoor walking trail sessions, according to the township. The update does not state a separate drop-in price.
Themed skates through December
Uxbridge Arena’s upcoming themed public skates are scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. on November 7 for Country Night, November 14 for Movie Magic and November 21 for a Pop Star Skate.
The December line-up continues with Hockey Night on December 5, Neon Glow on December 12 and Winter Wonderland on December 19, also from 7 to 8 p.m.
The township invites participants to dress for the theme and says themed music will accompany the sessions. Its newsletter does not provide skate admission charges, so visitors should confirm those details before attending.
