GO buses will replace Lakeshore East trains between Durham College Oshawa GO and Pickering GO on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, while Ontario Line construction work continues overnight in the rail corridor.
The buses will run direct to Union Station Bus Terminal after Pickering GO. There will be no GO Transit service at Rouge Hill, Guildwood, Eglinton, Scarborough, and Danforth GO stations during the weekend work, and riders are asked to consider TTC options for those stations. Some late-night service will also be adjusted on Friday, November 6.
The construction work runs continuously from Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m. to Monday, November 9 at 5 a.m. Metrolinx says the work includes waterproofing around the new rail bridges, ballast removal and reinstatement, and use of a hydro-vac truck. Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Riders should check gotransit.com for the latest service updates.
