GO bus service to Durham College, Ontario Tech University and Trent University Durham GTA is scheduled to resume Saturday, September 5, as Metrolinx introduces its fall service changes.
The returning campus service affects several routes linking Oshawa with Highway 407, Oakville, Square One and Peterborough. Metrolinx advises riders to check their exact trip before travelling because some schedules have also been adjusted to better reflect travel times.
Durham College and Ontario Tech routes
Service to the shared Durham College and Ontario Tech University campus is being restored on routes 52, 52A, 56 and 56A. The closest listed stop is Durham College Campus/Ontario Tech University.
- Route 52: Oshawa–Highway 407 Bus Terminal
- Route 52A: Durham College–Highway 407 Bus Terminal
- Route 56: Oshawa–Oakville
- Route 56A: Oshawa–Square One
Trent University routes
Trent University service is also scheduled to return on routes 88, 88B and 88C. The closest listed stop is Trent University.
- Route 88: Peterborough–Oshawa
- Route 88B: Peterborough–Oshawa via Courtice at Baseline
- Route 88C: Peterborough–Oshawa Express
Check the new timetable
GO Transit’s official schedule page lists new Route 52-54-56 and Route 88 timetables effective September 5. Riders should use the GO trip planner or the current PDF schedules to confirm departure and arrival times.
Eligible riders can also use Ontario’s One Fare program for transfers between GO Transit and participating local systems, including Durham Region Transit. Fare eligibility and transfer rules should be confirmed before travel.
