Elexicon charity golf fundraising has reached a record $435,000 for 2026, with Durham healthcare organizations among the beneficiaries, according to the utility’s October 30 announcement.
Elexicon Energy says its charity tournament has raised $1.5 million for community agencies over its history. The latest proceeds will support six organizations across its service communities.
Durham healthcare recipients included
The beneficiaries include Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, Lakeridge Health Foundation, Port Perry Hospital Foundation and The Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre. Belleville General Hospital Foundation and the Gravenhurst Health Hub are also included.
The $435,000 figure is the total raised by this year’s tournament, not an announced donation of that amount to each organization. The announcement does not provide a breakdown of individual allocations.
Ajax hosted the tournament
Muskoka411 reports that more than 400 golfers took part at Deer Creek Golf and Country Club in Ajax on August 13. This is a newly announced fundraising result from an earlier event, not a new tournament registration notice.
The Elexicon charity golf proceeds are intended to support healthcare in the communities served by the utility.
