A Durham Region road rage incident on Highway 401 in Ajax is under investigation after dog spray was used during a confrontation between two vehicles.
Ontario Provincial Police say the Durham Region road rage incident occurred Wednesday evening on the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, just west of Salem Road. The incident involved a white pickup truck and a black minivan.
During the confrontation, dog spray repellent was deployed toward a passenger in one of the vehicles. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result.
A 41-year-old man from Scarborough has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and administering a noxious substance.
