A 49-year-old Oshawa man has been charged with importing and possessing prohibited weapons following a Durham police investigation into the Oshawa taser import case.
Officers executed a search warrant on Jan. 28 at a residence near Ritson Road South and Olive Avenue in Oshawa. During the search, two tasers disguised as flashlights were seized.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with import prohibited/restricted weapon and possess prohibited/restricted weapon.
