Durham police are investigating a suspicious death in Oshawa after a man was found without vital signs in the area of Harmony Road and Coldstream Drive on Monday, Feb. 2. Officers were called to the residential neighbourhood just before 8:30 a.m.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Durham Regional Police Service stated that the investigation is ongoing, and it cannot yet be confirmed whether the death was intentional.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3, to determine the cause of the Oshawa suspicious death. Police have assured the public that updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
Residents in the area may have noticed a large police presence earlier, but officers have since left the immediate neighbourhood. Durham police continue to follow all leads in this case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
